Battery Module Extrusion Machine

Technical Excellence

The Battery Module Extrusion Machine is a specialised battery assembly station designed to support the compression, shaping and bundling preparation of battery cell modules. The machine uses a servo-controlled extrusion mechanism to help position and compress modules before they are secured using steel strapping or a manual strapping machine.

The equipment features an adjustable sizing mechanism operated through a hand crank, allowing operators to set the required product size. During operation, the rear baffle helps arrange the battery cell modules neatly, while the push plate applies the extrusion force required to bring the module into position. After compression, the rear baffle moves backward to provide space for strapping and bundling.

Once the module has been secured, the push plate retracts to complete the forming process, and the finished module can be removed from the station. This workflow supports organised module handling and a repeatable approach to battery module compression and forming.

The Semco SI-NBR DSEB offers adjustable maximum output pressure of up to 4000 N, a rated power of 750 W and a maximum equipment size of 1148 × 1150 × 1209 mm. These specifications make it a practical option for manufacturers seeking a dedicated battery module extrusion station within their battery assembly operations.

Designed for use in battery manufacturing environments, the Semco Battery Module Extrusion Machine supports the module forming stage before subsequent strapping and assembly operations. Its adjustable sizing, push plate and rear baffle provide operators with dedicated mechanisms for positioning, compressing and releasing battery modules.
