The Semco SI-PT BCDS 48V (5A/15A) 250W 144CH is a high-density charge–discharge test system designed for 1–10 series lithium battery packs in large-scale production and aging lines. It operates from three-phase 380 Vac ±10%, up to 36 kW (45 kVA), with a maximum 60 A/phase input, feeding 144 fully independent channels arranged in 6 layers (24 channels per layer).

Each channel supports 0–48 V operation with 0–5 A charge and 0–15 A discharge, minimum current 0.05 A, and per-channel power up to 240 W (charge) and 250 W (discharge). Voltage and current resolution are 10 mV and 20 mA, with accuracy of ±(1% + 0.2% FS), suitable for production-grade performance verification. The system uses a CC→CV load mode where constant current automatically transitions to constant voltage, with adjustable charging voltage from 10–48 V and programmable cut-off by voltage and time.

Test steps support 1–9999 h per step, 0–9999 cycles and 0–999 nested loops, with ≤100 ms load response time. Data is recorded at 1–999 s intervals in CSV format for easy integration into SPC and analysis workflows.

Built-in protection functions cover over-current, over-power, short-circuit, battery pack reverse connection and module over-temperature, complemented by grounding protection, forced air cooling and optional smoke alarm. Equipment operates from 0–50°C, with relative humidity 20–80% RH, and requires hot air exhaust outdoors.

Control is via RS-485 with independent electrical parameter control per channel and unified process timing. The host runs on Windows 7/10 (32/64 bit) over COM interface, with barcode scanning support for traceability. Housed in a 2000×650×1900 mm cabinet (open, non-thermostatic product area), this system delivers a compact, robust solution for high-throughput 48 V lithium battery pack formation, aging and cycle testing.
