The Semco SI-LS-TAZH-TA-80A Thermal Abuse Test Chamber is designed to evaluate the thermal stability and safety performance of lithium-ion batteries and battery packs under elevated temperature conditions.

The chamber simulates thermal abuse by heating fully charged batteries at a controlled rate of 5°C/min until reaching 130°C ±2°C, where the temperature is maintained for 30 minutes as specified in international battery safety standards. The test determines whether the battery catches fire or explodes.
