The Semco SI-Y BCDS 50V (5A/10A) 35CH is a dedicated charge–discharge cycle test platform for lithium battery packs used in electric tools, solar energy storage, twisted cars, scooters and electric bicycles. It combines cycle charging/discharging, functional testing and data monitoring in one integrated system to support R&D, production, and quality control.

The system operates from AC 220 V single-channel and AC 380 V cabinet supply, in environments from –10 to 45 °C, and is designed for sites without strong vibration or corrosive / flammable gases. It offers a voltage test range of 4.5–50 V with accuracy of ±(0.2% of reading + 0.2% of range) and current ranges of 50–5000 mA charging and 50–20000 mA discharging (up to 20 A when pack voltage is ≤25 V). Discharge power ≤500 W and capacity accuracy ±1‰ ensure precise performance evaluation.

Charge modes include constant current and constant voltage, with end conditions based on voltage, current, relative time and overcharge protection. Discharge is constant current, with cut-off by voltage, relative time and over-discharge protection. The system supports 1–999 loops and up to 100 steps per cycle, with 0–999 h/step timing, <2 s inspection time and data recording intervals ≥5 s, giving flexible aging and life test profiles.

A 4-wire sampling scheme improves voltage and current measurement accuracy. Test data is managed via an SQL database, and the upper computer communicates through TCP/IP network port and serial port, allowing online control of up to 30 instruments. Results can be exported in EXCEL, TXT and chart formats, and the Windows-based software (Win2000/XP/7/10) lets users view charge/discharge aging curves by battery barcode, time and equipment number, simplifying traceability and analysis.
