The Semco SI BCDS 23V 50A 8CH is a robust storage battery charge–discharge tester designed for high-current 2–20 V packs. Operating from AC 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz, it provides 8 fully independent channels, each supporting up to 690 W charge and 1000 W discharge (resistive heating). This makes it suitable for demanding capacity, performance and life tests in labs and production environments.

The system offers 7.3–23 V adjustable constant-voltage charging with ±0.03 V tolerance and 2–20 V adjustable discharge cut-off, also with ±0.03 V accuracy. Charge current is programmable from 0.5–30 A, and discharge from 0.5–50 A, both in 0.1 A steps with ±0.03 A tolerance. A 4-core wire sampling method ensures stable voltage and current measurement. Each channel can run up to 90 hours per step and handle single-test capacities up to 999 Ah, with 1–16 cycle index and configurable recording by time, voltage and current intervals.
