Semco SI MWN 3000A – Microcomputer AC Pulse Spot Welder for Battery Pack & Metal Applications
The Semco SI MWN 3000A AC pulse spot welder is an industrial-grade, microcomputer-controlled solution for power lithium-ion battery modules, 3C lithium packs, Ni-MH packs, wire terminals, stainless steel parts, electronic components, small hardware and metal jewellery. Its double-spot horizontal welding head driven by pneumatic pressure ensures stable welding current and uniform nugget size, ideal for both production lines and maintenance/proofing work.
Critical welding parameters are easy to set and repeat: welding pressure 1–10 kg, energy adjustment via “+ / – / #”, air pressure regulation, welding needle length and left-right pin spacing. An independent spring-buffered welding needle design gives accurate pressure control and compensates surface tolerances.
Intelligent control is based on an imported precision chip, providing microsecond-level response, fully digital parameter setting and stable long-duration operation. The system supports single, multi and double-pulse welding, with dual-section multi-pulse shaping to optimise the output waveform for stronger, cleaner and more aesthetic weld spots.
High-quality components – alumina copper electrodes, pure copper cables and clamps, and a pure copper high-power transformer (3 kW / 7 kW / 12 kW options) – deliver durability and suitability for long-term mass production. The welder supports up to 3600 A current and 0.02–0.2 mm nickel sheet (power-dependent), with a maximum speed of 1 weld/second.
Industrial-grade safety features include a robust circuit design, over/under-voltage alarm with LED indication, universal power connector and clear workflow: power on → set parameters → place pack → pedal → weld → head returns. Standard configuration includes spot welder, foot switch, power cable, air tube, SNAP-IN welding needles and tools. Regular electrode polishing, tightening checks, dust cleaning and lubrication, combined with strict no-unauthorised-disassembly practice, ensure stable performance and long service life.
