The Semco SI BCDS 34V 30A 8CH is an 8-channel storage battery charge–discharge tester designed for lead-acid and lithium batteries in R&D, QC and small-batch production. It operates from AC 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz, with no-load 100 W and full-load 4100 W input. Each channel delivers up to 460 W and is independently controlled, allowing simultaneous testing of 8 batteries with separate profiles and logging.
On the voltage side, the system supports 7–34 V CC/CV charging with ±0.05 V tolerance and 2–34 V discharge cut-off with ±0.03 V tolerance. Current capability ranges from 0.5–20 A charge and 0.5–30 A discharge, with ±0.1 A (charge) and ±0.03 A (discharge) accuracy and 0.1 A minimum charge cut-off current. A 4-wire sampling arrangement improves measurement accuracy and pack voltage control.

It includes power-down data protection, reverse connection, over-temperature, over-voltage and short-circuit protection, meeting IP20 and AC 1000 V / 2 min inter-channel insulation. Operating conditions are 0–40 °C, ≤70% RH, with noise <76 dB. Host software (Windows XP / 7 / 8 / 10) communicates via TCP/IP LAN, storing data on a server (>100 GB) and exporting Excel test reports. The compact 840 × 350 × 179 mm unit with clip fixtures is ideal for benchtop multi-pack cycle, capacity and performance testing.
