The Semco SI BCDS 100V 120A 4CH-Repower-2020 is a high-power battery pack test system designed for life aging (cycle life), performance evaluation and quality control of lithium-ion, lead-acid, nickel-cadmium and nickel-metal hydride batteries. It is ideal for production lines, R&D labs and incoming inspection where accurate multi-condition testing and long-term stability are mandatory.

Working from AC 380 V ±10%, 50 Hz in environments from 10–45 °C and ≤85% RH (non-condensing), the system offers 0–100 V main channel voltage with ±120 A bidirectional current, 1 mV / 1 mA resolution and accuracy of ±(0.1%FS + 0.1%RD). Each channel delivers up to 10 kW continuous power, with <100 ms current response and 100 ms time resolution for dynamic profiles.

Charging supports CC, CV and seamless CCCV with impact-free transition; discharging supports CC, CP and CR, plus stand-still steps. Up to 9999 programmable steps, 9999 cycles and 10-level nested loops allow complex aging and characterization programs. Optional 32-channel auxiliary voltage (0–5 V) and 32-channel temperature (–20 to 100 °C) inputs expand pack-level diagnostics.

Data is sampled via four-electrode (4-wire) connections and stored as files, with views for cycle list, process list and detailed list, plus export to Excel, TXT and chart for curves such as voltage-time, current-time, capacity-time, energy, and charge/discharge efficiency. Communication via RS232 / USB / LAN supports power-off recovery and online parameter modification.

The system integrates comprehensive software and hardware protections: over/under-voltage, over/under-current, capacity and over-temperature, trend and fluctuation abnormal protection, reverse-connection and short-circuit protection, plus emergency cut-off and automatic load connect/disconnect. Optional BMS CAN communication allows real-time comparison of BMS total voltage, current, cell voltage and temperature with tester data and enables step stop/transition based on BMS conditions.
